mid-June surprise snowfall
Our home has a perfect private open yard for children to play. It is safe away from the street. The snow in the yard can be up to two feet deep in the winter...great place to make a snowman. And part of this yard has a slope which children love sliding down in the plastic sleds we furnish. And if you want to stay inside and watch the children playing outside, there are lots of windows to look through.

Comments: Feedback from our Guests
"Great Family Spring Break trip!
We stayed for 6 nights with 3 adults and 4 kids, and had a great time with plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable and relaxed. You can tell this house is well loved and it was fun to see how the owners' personalities are present throughout (unlike many other rentals that are set up as intentionally generic and lacking character). You can tell from the pictures that this house has a lot of style, and although it's a modern building the decor will make you feel you're in a Victorian-era home. As others have mentioned, the kitchen is well-stocked and the bathroom towels are plentiful. It is an easy walk to the gondola for snowboarding each day, and on the way back it was such a luxury to catch the free shuttle that drops you off just 1 block from the house - it's really a great location for skiing/snowboarding and for strolling downtown for a cup of coffee, dinner, etc. We did not use the hot tub so can't comment on that -- the kids were happy to hang out in the living room watching Food Network each night and we sort of forgot the hot tub was there?!?! The owner, Ted, was very responsive and made the whole process very easy and enjoyable."
"Comfortable, Clean, Caring, Convenient!
This house is great for group get-togethers in Breckenridge. Plenty of space, comfortable furnishings & a highly welcoming environment. Also highly welcoming was Ted (the owner), who made sure everything was going well from reservation through the stay. The location is hard to beat - short walks to the action of downtown or to the gondola and the action on the slopes. It had been ~20 years since I'd been to Breckenridge, but I'll be back (and definitely staying here if it's available) as the quality of this experience: lodging, slope access, skiing variety, dining, apres ski, convenience to access all - exceeded that of the many "manufactured ski village" resorts I've been to."
"wonderful family vacation
We arrived 1/1/15 and stayed 4 nights. The house was comfortable with plenty of beds and bathrooms to accommodate our family of 6 adults and 4 children. The kitchen was well equipped too with room for everyone around the dining table. One of the best things about this house is the location. It was an easy walk to the gondola or strolling up and down Main street. We rarely had to get in the car."
We had a wonderful guys trip at your home in Breckenridge. Fathers and Sons and friends coming and going - the beds worked out great. They all loved the hot tub after skiing and I, the cook for this gang, had a great time in the kitchen. Thank your wife for me - she kept it so well stocked with everything hat I was able to cook up a storm. The dining room seated everyone comfortably and was perfect for card games.
You are a good host. Thanks for being responsive to our requests. The house had everything we needed and then some - especially the linens and towels (and soaps and cleaning supplies). The walk to town was easy and the walk to the lift not bad with skis. Of course, for the lazy guys, they could just catch the shuttle a minute away.
Thanks again. Your house was a good find for us."
"Our family of six travelled from Sydney, Australia; the kids loved your place with the Sega and all the videos. We have never holidayed in such comfort, space and luxury. You have a great location."
The Randolphs (Australia)
"As the others have said, your house is fantastic! We enjoyed your sense of detail and all the comforts your house has. It was great with all the videos, surround stereo, and the continuous music on cable. Thanks for sharing."
The Troys (New Jersey)
"Your place provided a majical, relaxing and memorable Christmas experience. We loved the big Christmas tree and all the Victorian detail. We felt like we stepped back in time."
The Block family (Texas)
"Wow! This is an awesome house. The detail you have gone to is unbelievable. It was great to just be able to walk downtown or to catch the bus from your place. I'll recommend the Dreier House!"
The Summers (Chicago, IL)
"The personal touch are special. The kitchen is great. We are planning our next trip back."
The Berrys (Lousiana)
"Gathering around the piano, drinking wine by the fireplace, eating a gourmet meal by dimmed light and soaking in the hot tup and Jacuzzi -- that's exactly what we did. Thanks for your wonderful, charming and comfortable home."
The Barnetts (California)
"You truly have outdone yourselves in making this house as close to home as possible. Of all the places we have stayed, this has been the best!"
"Your home is beautiful and relaxing. All the necessities are a hand. Thanks for sharing it with us."

Owners, Ted and Karen Dreier
We welcome you to our home. We have grandkids in Franklin, TN, and Coppell, TX, so in the winter we spend time with them, thus leaving our home open for rent you who have grandkids understand that. Since this is our home, everything has been upgraded like you want for your home, in contrast to strictly rental property. And since Karen is a great cook, the kitchen is very complete.
Those who know us might tell you that next to our grandkids, Moozie the Cow gets the rest of our attention. Moozie is the Ambassador of Kindness for the Children's Kindness Network, a nonprofit that we founded in 1998, with a mission of Building a Culture of Kindness Beginning with pre-K. This has been a pure volunteer activity for us so to say the least, we appreciate you renters.
So, if you want to know more about us (and where we spend our time) visit, Children's Kindness Network and Moozie.
